In the second quarter of 2024, the top five navigation and maps applications in Panama showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with consistent download numbers, fluctuating between 5.3K and 6.1K per week. The app saw a notable peak of 6.1K downloads in the week of April 29. Weekly active users for Waze Navigation & Live Traffic remained relatively stable, starting at approximately 224K at the beginning of April and ending at around 224K at the end of June.

Google Maps Go experienced a steady download performance, with weekly downloads ranging from 1.7K to 2.4K. The highest number of downloads, 2.4K, was recorded in the week of June 10. Weekly active users for Google Maps Go were consistent, averaging around 129K to 131K throughout the quarter.

MapXplorer: GPS, Radar, HUD showed a diverse trend in revenue and downloads. Revenue increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, peaking at $82 in the week of June 17. Downloads varied, with a high of 2.6K in the week of May 20 and a low of 813 in the week of June 17. Weekly active users for MapXplorer: GPS, Radar, HUD also saw a general upward trend, reaching a peak of 5.5K in the week of May 20.

Google Earth maintained steady download numbers, with a peak of 1.7K in the week of June 10. Weekly active users increased notably towards the end of the quarter, starting at approximately 10.6K and peaking at around 12K in the week of June 17.

Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps had a lower performance in terms of downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at 2.8K in the first week of April but declined to 275 by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 2.1K and dropping to 342 by the end of the quarter.
